This project consisted of removal of asbestos slate roof and replace it with a natural slate roof. External works also included removal of vegetation, the raking out of cement pointing, repointing with a lime mortar, recording the top three courses of masonry and rebuilding. The two floors within the building were propped down to ground floor level while building works were being undertaken. There was new Slimlite glazing sections fitted to the existing stone frame and mullion windows and Heritage Rooflights fitted in the roof. New rainwater goods were also installed.
