Cloneyhurke House is a two storey over basement country house built in the late 1700s. Mid West Lime were engaged to construct a living dining area to the rear of the house and carry out re-roofing, insulation, new sliding sash windows, stone front entrance rebuild and addition and plaster repairs externally and internally.
Country House Extension
Poroton clay blocks were used in the new construction and then lime plastered inside and out. A lead roof was put on the new extension to the rear . All window shutters were refurbished when the windows were being replaced. Any failing render was removed and new render applied, where existing plaster was in good condition and this was sheltercoated and limewashed. An insulated limecrete floor was installed in the kitchen area.
